Following the release of their self-produced track ‘Arabia’ in November 2015, Dublin based 5 piece Beach are soon to unveil their newest single ‘Donuts.’

‘Donuts’ is a statement.  A bold, brave single that leaves the listener disorientated and on edge. Written in a single day, Dave Barrett, when talking about the meaning behind the lyrics said “They are about a really fucked up outer body experience I had where I transcended into a spiritual dimension. For quite some time I thought I was dead in the physical world”.

Influences range from Joy Division to Tame Impala. But there is a distinctive feel and originality to the single, which hints at a band capable of pushing sonic boundaries while not limiting themselves to any set genre.

Plans are afoot to take their live visual show on tour this year. For the time being, ‘Donuts’ offers a glimpse into one of the most exciting bands to come out of Ireland in a long time.

Beach are: Dave Barrett (Vocals, Guitar) Alex Conway (Guitar) Adrian Garvey (Drums, Pads) Bernard Kavanagh (Bass) Simon Flynn (Synth).
