Following the successful release of the incredible The Broken Toys album, Yorkshire new graver’s Bad Pollyanna have released the video for the beautiful acoustic track I See You. The video was recorded at Whitby Goth Winter Weekend and perfectly demonstrates the versatility of the band.
Frontwoman Olivia Hyde explains the message behind the emotionally charged album closing track: “This song sums up the whole message of The Broken Toys album, which its why it is the last track. The whole album is about how we all have voices inside our head that can be extra horrible to us. I know so many people who have suffered from mental health issues such as anxiety and depression and they think its just them. They’re afraid people won’t be able to look at them without seeing a label if they come out and talk about it. The whole album is saying, you are not alone! If we talk to each other about these things it makes us stronger.”
