Glaswegian metalcore quintet As Daylight Fades are set to bring their Love//Loss EP to the fore on May 27.
Matty Clarke, frontman of the five-piece says; “Everything comes to an end. The songs of our E.P are about loving and losing people close to you, which is something everyone, unfortunately, will have to deal with at some point in their life.”
The four track EP is full of thunderous breakdowns and face-melting riffs. “The lyrics cover the idea of facing the world alone, and the challenges you’ll face whilst doing so. We put everything into the writing process for this release, so it’ll be a proud moment for us when we finally get it out there.”
The band are set to hit the road for a run of UK and mainland European dates in the run-up to the release. Catch them on the dates below:
1st May – Bolton, The Almanac
7th May, Manchester – Aatma
8th May, Crewe – The Box (UK)
