Foes @ Fuel Rock Club, Cardiff. 24th October 2016 | Live Review

Finally FOES from Liverpool, took to the stage. I thought that this band would get a lot more faces in the crowd as it was their show but again it was mostly a few people and the other bands showing their support. Throughout every track Chris’ vocals were highlighted and his vocals were melodic and crisp. The lead vocals and the backing vocals blended naturally. The guitarist was very energetic and was moving about on stage quite a bit.

Waterparks are Royal

Those cheeky Texan pop-punkers Waterparks are treating fans ahead of the November 4 release of debut album Double Dare with another album track! The track Royal premiered on Daniel P Carter's Radio 1 Rock Show and reached royalty status as the show's Rockest Record!

Waterparks – Double Dare

US pop-punk rising stars Waterparks have been at the forefront of every pop-punkers mind over the last year or so after being backed and managed by Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte fame. The trio are set to release hugely anticipated debut album Double Dare on November 4 via Easy Life Records. Luckily for you (and us!) Elizabeth Birt got her hands on the album prior to it's release and below gives her views on the Pop Punk new boy's debut...

Better Days – This House (Single)

Inspired by their love of pop punk, Better Days have created their take on the genre they grew up with. Taking influences from a wide range of bands and artists, the band have strived to attempt a record with songs that draw influence from modern day pop punk bands whilst still playing homage to the pop punk/emo genre of the early 2000's. The band have recently released a brand new single"This House" taken from their upcoming debut EP "Overcast".

WSTR are leaving Footprints behind on their UK tour!

UK pop-punkers WSTR have revealed the awesome new video for Footprints. The track is the second to be taken from their forthcoming record Red, Green or Inbetween. The record is set for release on January 20, 2017.

Sum 41 – 13 Voices

Out of the returning trivector of pop punk bands this year (Blink-182, Good Charlotte and Sum 41). This is by far the best of the bunch and is my album of the year. And the reason why? It is due to how progressed this is for Sum 41. The album is still pop punk at the core but, has incorporated, metal riffs, rock power and hardcore energy.

Blink-182 – Los Angeles, CA – 1st October 2016

It was a huge party, with flashbacks for the older fans, and amazing stories to tell for the newest ones. The stage presence and performance of the band was more than one would have ever imagined. Travis Barker is a phenomenal drummer, his energy is felt throughout each drum hit and the chemistry between Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba makes the trio so entertaining to watch.
