We’re Wolves take on the A-Z challenge

Our A-Z challenge is a fun way to get to know the many bands and artists out there. Here it’s the turn of We’re Wolves to tell us all about themselves!

A song that made you want to make music?

Box Full of Sharp Objects by The Used.

Best rider you have had?

Honestly, where always surprised when they have food period haha but to answer that question more accurately we once got catered Olive Garden and that was pretty sick.

Craziest moment in the band?

I legally cannot talk about it, but we’ve had some wild moments.

Deepest lyric one of your songs features?

Easiest song you wrote?

Life of a Parasite, song just seemed to write itself. Anger can bring out the best work hah.

Favourite song in your set?

Welcome to Hell

Guest you’d most like to feature on your record?

Toss up between Corey Taylor and Jacoby Shaddix.

Hardest thing about being in a band?

Dealing with everyone’s individual schedules.

Interesting fact about one of your members?

We’re all actually vampires.

Jokes you have in the band?

There’s a lot but if you catch us out at a show, I can almost guarantee we’re are saying “I like Red” to each  other at great lengths. It’s dumb and always makes us laugh and there’s too long of an explanation for it.

Key to writing a song?

Focus.

Longest distance you’ve travelled to play a show?

I’ve toured all over America and Canada, but we’ve really only played all over Florida.

Most inspiring musician you’ve experienced?

Michael Bolton, he’s just flawless. I like to think of myself as the Michael Bolton of screaming.. no one else does though.

New band you’d recommend?

Personally I’m in love right now with Coffin Feeder.

Opening for this band would be ideal?

Falling in reverse 10000%.

Place you’d most like to tour?

The world.

Quote that you’d like to pass on to our readers?

Be genuine and don’t be an asshole to strangers.

Reason for the title of your forthcoming release?

Since the album is based off Donte’s Inferno, and each song is based off a different layer of hell.. we thought about it, and realized that you go to hell for doing “Evil Things.”

See us live at?

Respectables in West Palm Beach on April 23rd with Escape The Fate and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. We
post show announcements on https://www.facebook.com/
wearewolvesfl

The old days of music were better than the current, do you agree?

You have no idea how much we do hahah music today just has no soul, minus a handful of amazing up and coming
bands.

Unusual merchandise?

We’ve talked about doing tooth brushes… but I’m sure down the line we’ll have all kinds of weird stuff with our name on it.

Variations you’d like to do on one of your songs?

I would honestly love to a piano version of Wasteland.

What do your fans mean to you?

Everything, we’re nothing without their love and support.

X-rays or any treatments needed for band injuries?

Probably a psychologist… we’re all a little mental.

You’re late for a show, whose fault is it?

10000% it’s Jesse our drummer.

Zoo animal that best describes the personality of your band?

I think the band name answers that question.
