For those who haven’t heard your band, can you tell us what Faux is all about?

Faux is about combining intricate guitars, Pop melodies and emo lyrics.

You just released the video for your new single Hot Headed. Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind the track?

Lyrically Hot Headed explores the subject of big personalities within small friendship groups. Musically we wanted to create something that had nice floaty riffs with a 90’s Weezer esq old school pop rock chorus.

Do you have any plans for a new record?

We have just finished recording something that could possibly be a new record now you mention it.

You’re about to head out on tour with Counterfeit. Are you looking forward to it?

Massively, this is the biggest tour we have ever been on and both Counterfeit and Tigress are great bands so its going to be very enjoyable to say the least.

What’s your plans for the rest of the year?

We have Teddy Rocks festival coming up during the Counterfeit tour and then we will be focusing on releasing new content and touring!

We always end the interviews with some random questions; what is your favourite horror film?

Bridget Jones Diary.

Would you rather live without music or a computer?

Being a musician I would definitely have to go with computer.

If you could be any Disney character for a day, who would you be and why?

I would be the first grub that Simba eats in the Lion King. Slimy yet satisfying. Hakuna Matata.
