Bassist, Sean, of Deez Nuts spoke to us about the bands new album, being on tour and what inspires the band to create music.

For those who don’t know you, how would you sum up your musical style in 3 words?

 DON CHEADLE HARDCORE

Your new album, Binge and Purgatory, is set to be released very soon. What can fans expect to hear on it?

Binge and Purgatory is something we’re all super proud of, it’s a more mature album musically and lyrically. Fans can expect to hear the familiar Deez Nuts of the past but with a noticeable growth all round.

Is there anything that really inspired you, creatively, when putting together this album or that made you take the direction you have with it?

I think some of the inspiration came from our experiences over the past few years and growing from these experiences, we’ve all been through a lot together recently and I think it translates through this album.

You’ve recently been announced as joining Suicide Silence on tour – how excited are you to be on the road with those guys?

FUCKING STOKED! It’s been a while since we’ve played with them, we are all psyched to hang and watch them every night.

Is there anything about the live music scene that you really love or keeps you coming back for more?

I think the energy at shows is something that I really love. nothing can really compare to it

What else does 2017 hold for Deez Nuts?

TOURING TOURING TOURING!
