Hey Rain, being a new band on the block, introduce yourselves!
Alright mate! We’re a band from Swindon, some people describe us at shoegaze or post-rock.
Where did the name ‘Rain’ come from, does it have a specific meaning to you?
It was literally the first name we all agreed on, there were some awful suggestions though.
You are already set to play dates with fellow upcoming artists like Six Time Champion , Big Nothing and Wallflower. The UK’s alternative scene is so good right now, who are some of your favourites?
Our good friends in Simmer, Chew and Book Club are doing great things at the moment, check them out.
You are working on the EP at present, how is it coming along?
We’ve just finished recording it with Lewis Johns at The Ranch in Southampton, he’s a great producer and a great guy. It was a pleasure working with him.
What can we expect from the EP?
Lots of fuzz, reverb and ambience, hopefully..
What is a really random fact about the band?
We can’t stand each other.
