We chat to Superseed who are gearing up for their album launch show in Bristol tomorrow (February 9), here you can find out all about the band from their own point of view!
Q1: Who is in your band?
Well we have Myself (Dave), Dan Armson and Ben Taylor on the guitar and vocal duties, Keith Bowers on bass and Matt Colley is our most excellent drummer.
Q2: What is your take on your own sound?
It’s a bit of a mash up of everything that gets us going musically really. Big hard rockin’ riffs, elements of grunge, a slither of 90’s alternative, stoner snippets and some punky stuff.
Q3: If someone was listening to your music for the first time, what song would you tell them to listen to and why?
My Time Is Now will be the song I would choose as I wrote it and the main riff is exquisite.
Q4: What is the plan for 2019?
We managed to get signed by ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records in October last year. They will be releasing our album worldwide (on orange double vinyl!) along with a few videos in Jan/Feb and then we’ll be gigging as much as we can to promote it.
Q5: What is the one song you wish you wrote?
Regulate by Warren G ft. Nate Dogg
Q6: What three bands inspired or continue to inspire you the most?
Queen, Black Sabbath & MC5
Q7: Where can our readers see you live or listen to your music?
Our album launch gig is on Saturday 9th February at the Louisiana, Bristol with ace bands Leathers & Foil. Our music will be available at all good online and real life music stores from 08/02/2019. You can also catch our videos on the YouTubes.
Q8: If your band was an animal, what would it be and why?
It would be a great white shark. A huge and heavy beast with colossal bite and tiny eyes.
