We chat to Coventry metallers Scream Blue Murder who have just finished a run of UK dates in celebration of their fantastic new single Light It Up!

Q1: Who is in your band?

Aaron Bloomer – Vocals

Jamie Bloomer – Drums

Jack Roddy – Guitar

Jacob Houghton – Bass

Q2: What is your take on your own sound?

We are a modern rock band with an alternative metalcore edge. Rock n roll!

Q3: If you someone was listening to your music for the first time, what song would you tell them to listen to and why?

Light It Up would be the best listen at the moment, it portrays the direction the band is going in. But ask this question again in a few months after our next singles.

Q4: What is the plan for 2019?

We want to tour the world, release the best ever album and party in every city we land in.

Q5: What is the one song you wish you wrote?

Jamie – Shadow Moses – it’s The perfect metal song.

Aaron – Barbie Girl – it’s catchy and gets me in the mood to play with my action figures

Jack RoddySeven Hills – dunno its good, innit.

Jacob HoughtonThe Road Asking Alexandria – love life on the road and can relate to this.

Q6: What three bands inspired or continue to inspire you the most?

Bring Me The Horizon – We have grown up with them and been a fan since day one. They are our favourite current band.

The Beatles – The greatest rock band in history that changed history.

Oasis – Liam And Noel are G’s, it’s only Rock N Roll.

Q7: Where can our readers see you live or listen to your music?

We are currently on tour in Europe! We will be over to America again in the spring! You can listen to us anywhere youtube, Spotify and pornhub!

Q8: If your band was an animal, what would it be and why?

Lion, we will be kings of the music scene soon!
