Though only officially founded at the start of 2014, the quintet – formed of vocalist Tobi Duncan, guitarists Dann Bostock and Ryan Hyslop, bassist James Grayson and drummer Oakley Moffatt – have already played their first shows and recorded their debut E.P, ‘Look Alive’.
Bursting with buoyant guitar licks and the kind of vocal melodies you only need to hear once before they’re imprinted on your temporal lobe, ‘Look Alive’ is a formidable first strike from Trash Boat’s arsenal:
Rock Sound: “Trash Boat have already put in a bold claim to be part of your seasonal soundtrack with their debut EP”
The Wellz Street Journal: “‘Look Alive’ is a solid first EP and is at a higher level than you would expect for such a young band or even any pop-punk. I highly recommend checking it out”
Hit The Floor Magazine: “Trash Boat are a great addition to the British punk scene which needs some new life pumped into it”
UK Pop Punk: “no hint of weakness…an impressive mixture of memorable melodies, youthful affirmations and an abundance of energy; the perfect musical accessory for summer”
The Punk Archive: “Trash Boat are a band full of promise and another shining light on the the UK pop-punk scene”
