Waterparks – No Capes

Texas pop-punk sensations Waterparks have followed up their debut UK appearances with the video for EP track No Capes. Unfortunately in this video, there’s no cute dogs or the band wearing dog onesies, HOWEVER, you do get a taste of why everyone has fallen in love with the American trio!

The video showcases the band’s energy in their live shows, filmed on their American run with Good Charlotte and Never Shout Never and also features behind the scenes footage that perfectly encapsulates the sheer fun that the trio have.

Watch the video below:

The trio are currently recording their debut album in LA, again to be produced by Benji Madden (Good Charlotte, 5 Seconds of Summer) and Courtney Ballard (5 Seconds of Summer) and say;

“We are making our first album right now. Holy shit. That’s a real thing. We considered a lot of options regarding who we wanted to record the album with, but making Cluster was such a good experience that this easily made the most sense. We honestly don’t trust anyone more than Courtney and Benji to help bring these songs to life. Plus, they just bought Will Smith’s studio where Rihanna and Justin Bieber have made some crazy albums so that’s sick. NO PRESSURE, RIGHT?”

“This year has been weird and fast and tight. We met the Madden’s exactly a year ago and we high-key have had a better experience than we could’ve ever imagined. This year we did our first tour ever, played a bunch of sick sold out shows with Good Charlotte, left the country for the first time ever to play festivals/headline our own show when we don’t even have an album out yet. What the fuck. I couldn’t have imagined this year going anywhere even CLOSE to this,” the band shares. “This time last year…we didn’t have anything like this at all. Sorry to get all feelingsy but we feel stupid lucky and we’re super thankful for everything that’s happened this year. I can’t wait for y’all to hear the album. Oh my god. I know artists say this kind of thing all the time but this is easily the best Waterparks release we’ve ever written. Except they don’t say Waterparks, they say whatever band they’re in. THAT’S ENOUGH. YEAH. SEE Y’ALL ON WARPED. BRING YOUR DOG SO I CAN CUDDLE THEM INTO INFINITY. BYE.”
