Sad Blood was born after two failed career attempts in wrestling and stand-up comedy due to a lack of athletic and comedic ability for George Phillips. He tried 22 and a half times to recruit bassist Krys Bascombe and drummer Daniel Goldberg and set about focusing his songwriting on failures in life and love, most notably his failed imaginary relatonship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

The band encountered an imaginary court battle with Ms Swift over the Bad Blood based band name and learning nothing from that, called second EP Legion of Gloom.

Now this all sounds amusing (we wonder how the stand-up thing failed) but thankfully for us, what we are actually faced with is a trio who are one of the better bands in the 'emo-revival'. Drawing influence from the likes of Into It. Over It, Algernon Cadwallader, Mineral and Sunny Day Real Estate, their emo tracks contain puns galore!

Today, we make Sad Blood's Audibly Bored our track of the day! The track and video focus on how mental health can make even the most fun things seem like the worst thing in the world. Something that is very prevalent in today's society.
