Call it cliché, but I personally love covers of pop songs in a more heavier vibe. It is the way I can express a “guilty pleasure” song, in the form of a full-band remix. What better way than saying “Hey guys, here is the #1 song in the charts made more epic!”. Redeem/Revive have done just that to the current number one song in the UK charts, Shape Of You originally by Ed Sheeran. Hey, I personally like the original, but sorry Ed, this cover just made your song more ballsy.
