Brit alt-rockers Decade are our track of the day today with their new single Turn Off Your TV! The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming record Pleasantries (set for release via Rude Records on February 24!).
The band say of the track; “Turn Off Your TV is basically about the digital age and how the majority of people are all-consumed by TV shows, social media and the internet as a whole. It’s about trying to break that cycle of binging your favourite shows whilst simultaneously scrolling through your Instagram feed on your phone and procrastinating to the max, which we are all definitely guilty of from time to time. The song also features the best middle 8 riff in the world.”
Saying it features the best middle 8 riff in the world is a big statement but it’s one we’re inclined to agree with. This is our track of the day because it is yet another awesome song by the quintet and we’re excited for the album release!
