We’ll be listening and Remembering Until We’re Old and Unsteady is out now via Lonely Voyage Records.
These 4 tracks open with “This is your Captain Speaking” it straight away allows you to hear the cool delicate vocals of Bob Dick, the cool drum beat of Martin Dalziel. There’s a touch of Elbow and The National blended in with these guys. A good start.
“Interlocater’s” beat gets the foot bouncing to a rhythm, the sound is emotive and very atmospheric. This one reminds me of a London band called, Revere. Unicorns/Show Ponies comes with a nice gentle guitar sound. A mix for this EP.
“My name is ‘Dr Hildegarde Lanstrom And I am Quite, Quite Mad,” this isn’t a statement, it’s the name of the last track on We’ll Be listening and Remembering Until We’re Old and Unsteady. The track is beautiful. It has talent of touching the strings that part of life cannot get to. With the connection between these four guys have put together a formula that comes under Math rock.
Metric Verses now have three EP’s in the stratosphere. I look forward to hear what they have for us next.

Hey! I am Mark, a recovering grunger who had hair...oh and I once got barred from a Wetherspoons. I'm also always wondering who this "better" person people keep telling me I should know is!
