To The Wind – Temporary Escape | Single Review

I highly recommend you listen to their previous albums and EPs if you haven’t already and keep an eye and ear out for the release of the new upcoming album!

“Temporary Escape” from The Brighter View album

The Melodic Hardcore scene is undeniably thriving and gracing the music industry with an abundance of fresh talent. To The Wind, a Seattle 5-piece Hardcore band are definitely no exception. They’ve been around since 2008, and since then have released two EPs and two full length studio albums.

The band have been prepping themselves for a triumphant return with the release of their third studio album, The Brighter View. This will be made available for our listening pleasure on October 7th from Pure Noise Records.

One track from the album has been released so far, Temporary Escape. After listening to this song a fair few times I’d say we are in for a real treat with the new album!

The intro is quite explosive and engaging, which soon leads into the vocals. The singer has a rather dynamic voice, and has a strong vocal projection. Interestingly, the chorus is similar to the sound of a choir which provides an attractive spin on the song making it more distinctive against the heaviness of the instruments. The track is equipped with varied and driving guitar riffs, as well as a rapid energy that bleeds out from the impressive drumming. The song definitely is professional and creative and I found it extremely good and memorable.

I highly recommend you listen to their previous albums and EPs if you haven’t already and keep an eye and ear out for the release of the new upcoming album!
