All Tied Up are a nu-wave pop-punk quartet from Milton Keynes and they consist of Dave Palfreyman (Vocals/Guitar), Billy Norman (Lead/Rhythm Guitars) Nick Freeman (Drums/Percussion), and Leebo (Bass Guitar). The band released their engulfing new EP ‘Breaking Silence’ via Stack-In-A-Box Records on the 22nd of September.

‘So Enthusiastic’ opens with a very sweet instrumental and a few light harmonies. The instrumental kicks in a few seconds later giving the upbeat drums and energetic guitar riffs centre stage. Dave’s vocals are very melodic and are pleasant to the ear. The drums definitely keep this song very lively and the pace of the drum beats really make this track groovy and dancey. The lyrics are very well written, “never seen someone look so enthusiastic, so shall I make another move…”.

Next up is ‘Better Days’ this track opens in a very upbeat way with those familiar energetic drums and groovy guitar riffs and bassline. The vocals are very pop-punky and they definitely work well with the pace of both the drums and guitar. Some of the verses are very catchy and this is one of the reasons I really enjoy this track.

The pace of this track is definitely pop-punky which I like because it adds another level to the track and as whole is very lively.

The other tracks, ‘Asbestos Box’ and ‘Master of Disguise’ are very similar to the tracks I’ve mentioned. These songs have the ever so familiar groovy guitar riffs and lyrics are very well written. The chorus of ‘Asbestos Box’ is very catchy and it had me singing along after the second verse. If your into pop-punk or are just looking for something new to spin then this is definitely one to listen to!
