This Place Is Death are a 3 piece alternative rock band from Cork, Ireland. The band released an EP entitled ‘Low Light’ in 2013, and in 2016 they signed with UK Indie label Sound Hub records and will be releasing their debut single Caught Inside with the label on August 20th.
The track starts off with a build up of drums followed by a gentle and enjoyable rhythmic guitar sound. When the vocals kick in you can tell it’s an Indie track straight away. With the vocals, the band remind me of an older indie band with the likes of old Oasis. However, I personally don’t think the recording of this track has been mastered to a great extent. Other than that, I think Indie fans would love this track!
