Welsh rockers Texas Flood recently released their new album Overworked and Underpaid and are well and truly bringing good old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll back.
There’s an old-school rock ‘n’ roll riff to open Ain’t No Cowboy which features prominently throughout. It’s a catchy track and we’re off to a good start! Fish has a great sing-a-long vibe. Forget About You isn’t a song you want to forget about anytime soon, if this isn’t stuck in your head then your brain must be impenetrable. The rest of the album follows the same pattern but it doesn’t get boring.
The entirety of Overworked and Underpaid is a catchy throwback to the classic rock of years gone by! With riffs that make you want to get up and dance, catchy vocal melodies and sing-a-long choruses, it’s an arena-ready collection of songs!
