Roseview are here with their album that they’ve spent the past few months in the studio recording called ‘The Misery In Me‘. Roseview was formed by a group of friends from Portland in 2015 and recently signed with Tragic Hero Records. This powerful 10 track album will give you many feelings with the strong lyrics and heavy sound.

Opening with a beautiful ambience, lulling you into false security before the guitars roll in bringing you an amazing slab of melodic hardcore in the song ‘Retrace’. The Misery In Me straight away get’s underway with raw emotion and passion, as you can hear in the vocals straight off the bat.

The Second track ‘Leap‘, instantly connected with me, with it’s real raw emotion and the sheer honesty in the way it’s written! The chorus is one of the most memorable, stand out choruses I’ve heard in a while!

But just when you think you know what you’re in for, “Haze” let’s you in for a softer, more melodic approach, reminding me of Casey‘s mellower moments, this track is a hauntingly beautiful piece that builds into an epic crescendo. It’s one of the calmer songs in this album with clean vocals and clean sounding guitars.

What you have with this album is an album that keeps delivering, song after song, further highlights include the hardcore ferocity of Step, Home, which sounds like something Beartooth would have been incredibly proud to have written and Tunnel Vision which would encourage audiences hearing it live to lose their minds in the mosh pit.

By the time album closer, December hits, you know what you’ve heard is an incredible effort by Roseview and honestly, this closer is just something so unique, so beautiful with vocals aching with passion and emotion, they’ve literally put sweat and blood into creating this album and it deserves to be heard and shared with everyone!

This band really do leave you wanting more with their own amazing sound that all you rock and metal fans will love. Roseview are and will be the next big name within this genre!
