Better Days – This House (Single)

Inspired by their love of pop punk, Better Days have created their take on the genre they grew up with. Taking influences from a wide range of bands and artists, the band have strived to attempt a record with songs that draw influence from modern day pop punk bands whilst still playing homage to the pop punk/emo genre of the early 2000's. The band have recently released a brand new single"This House" taken from their upcoming debut EP "Overcast".

Altered Sky live @ The Garage, Glasgow

Last but not least, Altered Sky. This band definitely made an interesting entrance, it reminded me of Bring Me The Horizon but without the intimidation. The stage presence from this band was well put together and the energy was, well incredible!

Feeder @ O2 Academy Bristol | Live Review

So, eleven years since my last trip to see Feeder, I was off to see a band who’s music had been there for me throughout my life and I was eager to see how their new music would play out in a live environment. ‘Another Day On Earth’ was the band’s opener, the melancholic track taken from their new record All Bright Electric was complimented by beautiful scenery projected onto the backdrop that, at times felt like you were on some weird acid trip…in the best way possible.

Foes – The Summit Lies Skyward

Make way and listen up for this Liverpudlian quartet as they release their debut album The Summit Lies Skyward. If you're a fan of Circa Survive or Karnivool you'll love this.

PLINI – Handmade Cities

The long awaited debut album is finally released this month, featuring Australian drumming sensation Troy Wright along with bassist Simon Grove, of The Helix Nebula. From the opening track, Electric Sunshine, it is very clear that this is something special and instantly you cannot help but be drawn in by the building guitar sounds and the real depth of the musicality.

Mouses – The Mouses Album | Album Review

Hipster rockers rejoice, Mouses are here to bring you their own special brew of lo-fi, grunge fuelled noise via their brand new (and imaginatively titles) 'The Mouses Album'.

From Indian Lakes – Everything Feels Better Now – album review

From Indian Lakes have created the dreamiest and one of the most impressive albums of 2016.

INDIGO BONES – SELF RELEASE EP

Fan of garage rock and fancy an early Christmas present this year? If so, then this year the guys from Indigo Bones will be releasing their EP of the same name. If rock and roll is what you want, then you're guaranteed to get it from this album.

Sum 41 – 13 Voices

Out of the returning trivector of pop punk bands this year (Blink-182, Good Charlotte and Sum 41). This is by far the best of the bunch and is my album of the year. And the reason why? It is due to how progressed this is for Sum 41. The album is still pop punk at the core but, has incorporated, metal riffs, rock power and hardcore energy.

The Kenneths – Double N

It's been an eventful first 18 months for Josh Weller (vocals/guitar), Lewis Maynard (bass) and Aicha Djidjelli (drums) with a catalogue of shows (150!) alongside the likes of Anti-Flag and Less Than Jake. But who doesn't love a bit of hook and harmony laden punk? Check these London punks out!

Blink-182 – Los Angeles, CA – 1st October 2016

It was a huge party, with flashbacks for the older fans, and amazing stories to tell for the newest ones. The stage presence and performance of the band was more than one would have ever imagined. Travis Barker is a phenomenal drummer, his energy is felt throughout each drum hit and the chemistry between Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba makes the trio so entertaining to watch.

Annisokay – Devil May Care

German metalcore group Annisokay are set to release new record Devil May Care on November 11 via SPV/Long Branch. The record follows their Michael Jackson dedicated EP Annie Are You Okay and is their third studio album, the follow-up to 2015’s Enigmatic Smile.

Rave The Reqviem – The Gospel of Nil

If Swedish industrial metal is your thing, then Rave The Reqviem might just be the ones for you. The five piece, who came from what was a solo project, have created a sound described as a mixture of industrial metal, heavy electronica and powerful rock and are ready to release their debut album, The Gospel of Nil to the world.

FingerTrap – Body Popping.

This track is definitely a song that will get the crowd dancing at shows. So if you got what it takes to Body pop or want to show off some dance moves. Your chance is at the end of the month, the guys in Finger trap have got a release show coming up on the 29th of October in Cardiff.
