Lost Empires, a Oklahoma 5-piece metal band dropped their EP Death: The Unveiling of Eternity today and I had a chance to have a listen.

Their EP starts with a short intro of light cymbals, and steady drums. Bleeding into the next track quickly with a heavy metal sound. Heavy guitars and rapid drums are placed together for a steady beat that one can bob their head to. The music being felt throughout from my headphones, the beats from each track really gets one feeling pumped.
The singers voice is deep but in a way that’s easy on the ears if that makes any sense. His voice is similar to a low growl and is very likable, especially since the lyrics are understandable over the heavy instrumentals.

The EP as a whole is an amazing listen. The intro of each song was a trick on the ears, taking me by surprise every time as each song advanced into a different path musically. It’s recorded and mastered very well! I honestly wish I could’ve been present during their whole recording process! Highly suggest a listen, and if you’re in the mid east of the United States they have a few tour dates that would be great experience to check out.
