Brit alt-rockers Faux released their self-titled EP on June 16. The band have a sturdy fan base behind them and with this EP it isn’t hard to see why!

Opening track Speak Up kicks in with smooth vocals. It’s catchy and a strong start to the record. Around is mellow and has a good drum beat, again another catchy track. Lead single Hot Headed’s title suggests an angry track but this is anything but. Closing track Some Nights is catchy yet still relaxing.

The entire EP is full of intricate melodies and calming, melodic vocals. Each track is catchy and the lyrics are sung with some pretty beautiful vocals. This is definitely a go-to EP for a relaxing time.

9/10
