A Day Overdue are a 5 piece Rock band from Scotland. They formed years back and were reasonably successful with tours and singles such as “Storylines” and “From now On” which gained them a significant following on social media and throughout.

The band went their separate ways around 4 years back after an ill-advised record deal making it impossible to continue.

Making a comeback they are now back writing, recording and touring and have recruited a new drummer Keir Jamieson. Keir who being a fan of the band, campaigned to join for years before and during the split.

As a reformed band, they have released their first single and went out on tour in Dunfermline, Scotland. The band consists of vocalist Rob Walker, guitarist and vocalist Dan Morrison, other guitarist Michael Davison, bassist Lee Donnelly and drummer Keir Jamieson.

Their newest track “The More Things Change” can be found on platform BandCamp. The track automatically starts with an upbeat rock feel from the guitars and bass, the bass is so clear within this track unlike a lot of songs where it is concealed well. I am loving the feel of thing song, especially the high vocals. This band remind me of You Me At Six, it is clear they have been around for a while to produce such a well done track. The video along with The More Things Change is an eye catcher as you keep watching to find out what will happen next, a lot of focus on vocalist Rob Walker but none the less an extremely intriguing video.

I have high hopes for this band and I hope to catch them at a show in the near future. Keep an eye out for these guys in 2017!

My name is Kirsty Johnston and I come from a Village called Bothwell. I have a such a tickle for Pop-punk and my favourite band is Neck Deep. I attend New College Lanarkshire studying music business in the hope to worm my way into the industry setting up live events. I am not afraid to spit out my honest opinion but I love everyone.
