TrueHeights formed in 2014, and released their debut EP ‘TH15‘ in September 2015 via Absorb Music/ Believe Digital.

Recorded with one of the most highly commended producers on the UK music scene, Matt O’Grady (You Me At Six, Deaf Havana, Don Broco), ‘TH15’ finds Zakk Poland (Lead Vocals/Guitars), Luke Poland (Lead Guitar), Steve Maugham (Synths), Ash Maugham (Bass Guitar) and Kris Farrell (Drums) demonstrate their beautiful, anthemic rock sound as well as displaying exceptional musicianship.

TrueHeights, who hail from the streets of the midlands, were aware of O’Grady’s prestigious reputation before recording with him. Yet they forged an excellent working and personal relationship, which saw the veteran producer constantly encouraging the band to experiment while cajoling them to thrilling new heights.

The last year has seen TrueHeights share the stage with the likes of Rival State, Freeze The Atlantic and Verses.  2016 has lots of exciting things in store for the 5piece, and we can’t wait to share them with you!

Hi I'm Gareth, A foolish Welshman that has found himself living in Scotland. I adore live music and this all started back in University when a friend dragged me along to my first gig and I saw Travis. From then on I spent a lot of time going to see bands from rubbish uni bands that had formed one drunken night to the mighty Blur. When I finished uni there was a 10 year gap between gigs (long story). Now though, on any given day of the week I can be found in the venues of Glasgow. With regards to my music taste I love anything with great lyrics and heavy drums. When I was younger (and still am) I was obsessed with a band called Alisha's Attic.
When not at a gig I will be found at my computer playing games like Prison Architect, Hearthstone and Wolfenstein.
