Track of the Day: Muncie Girls – Balloon

The three-piece who were born amongst punk rock shows in dive bars are an a group we have closely followed for a long time and ‘Balloon’ is the perfect taste of their new record and what you can come to expect so with that, we’ve named it our Track of the Day!

Having already been touted as One To Watch in 2016 by a whole host of esteemed publications, Exeter’s Muncie Girls have unveiled another new track from their forthcoming debut album ‘From Caplan To Belsize’. ‘Balloon’, as vocalist Lande Hekt explains, ” is supposed to have a different feel than the rest, in that it is somewhere between reflective and hopeful. But basically it’s about a breakup”. The much-anticipated full length will be released on 4th March, 2016 via Specialist Subject Records in the UK.
