Nottingham alt-rock trio Some Skeletons announce the release date for debut album Vigils will be December 4th 2015. The release is due to come through Mountains of Records who released their second EP And Signs & Ampersands in 2012.

Guitarist Aiden Blenkinsopp says “We’re really excited to get Vigils out there and see what people think of it. It’s the product of a fun bundle of intense hard work and hopefully captures the essence of our band – melody, noise and slapdash intricacy.”

The band draw influences from the likes of Idlewild, Deftones, Smashing Pumpkins and Brand New and have developed a sound that is big, bold and compelling while suiting the individual members of the trio.

Vigil is a concept based in the early 90’s in a small coastal town that has experienced some unusual events, with the songs relating to how the people react.
