Rockers The Pretty Reckless aren’t content with dominating the rock charts in both 2014 and 2015, they’re back with album number 3! Who You Selling For is set for release on October 21 via Razor & Tie.
The record, the follow up to 2014’s smash hit Going To Hell, was produced by long-time collaborator Kato Khandwala. The 12 track collection features frontwoman Taylor Momsen’s raw vocals and dark lyrics with an undertone of blues and a soulful feel. However it still encompasses the band’s trademark intensity and rock sound.
Taylor says of jumping into the record following the exhausting two year touring cycle for the previous release; “We had so much we wanted to say, it was like shaking a can of soda on tour, and then when we started writing we cracked the seal. The touring life is very isolating. You look at the world through a bus or airplane window. But music is the healing factor. It’s the one thing that is grounding and a true companion through the forest. It saved us – again.”
