With their forthcoming second album out 27th October 2017, The LaFontaines have released epic title track Common Problem.
Frontman Kerr Okan has commented about Common Problem’s music video “We always like to do something a bit different with our videos, however this one was genuinely inspired by true events. After playing a gig in London the night prior to flying to Venice, our bassist John left his passport in a Nando’s somewhere south of Camden. Only to discover this while attempting to check in at Edinburgh Airport the next day. He sadly missed the shoot in Italy. Some would say that’s his cheekiest Nando’s yet.”
About the upcoming album, Kerr has also said “Common Problem is a much darker record than our debut release, we’re not as young and naive as we were in our early twenties. We’ve been around the world as a band, seen a lot of things and discovered our one big Common Problem… There is a lot of angst, truth and reality held within this album.”
