Out on October 28th via LAB Records, the track fuses Queens Of The Stone Age-esque riffs with the blistering strength of vocalist Katy Jackson to produce a track of genuine quality.

The video gives an insight into the band’s abilities to put on a show-stopping performance. Cut between shots of each member it’s irrefutable evidence that Tigress will be tipped for big things over the next year.

After giving previous track ‘Future’ its first spin, BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens has continued his support for the band by also premiering ‘Power Lines’ on strong recommendation from the band’s local BBC Essex Introducing show, where Tigress have already performed a live session. They have also received heavy backing from Alex Baker at Kerrang Radio.

Still in their infancy, Tigress’s debut EP ‘Human’ was released in November last year and was co-produced by You Me At Six guitarist Max Helyer, and John Mitchell. Following the release, Apple Music made the title track one of their Hot Tips For 2016.

This summer, the band played their first ever run of UK headline shows, resulting in a sold-out hometown show in Chelmsford, a packed-to-the-rafters performance at London’s Islington Academy 2 and festival appearances at both Macmillan Festival and Butserfest.

‘Power Lines’ serves as an impressive taster of what’s to come from the Essex five-piece and, with a brand new EP due early next year, the future looks extremely exciting for Tigress.
