Boy Jumps Ship have revealed their new single Fashion! The track was written in Iceland when the rest of the band gatecrashed bassist Jonny Rob’s modelling shoot and then recorded the single in Berlin.
Vocalist Si explains of the track; “‘Fashion’ is about not conforming to the social pressures and stereotypes that are thrown at us today, particularly via social media. A lot of younger people are given the impression that everyone’s life is idealistic, and therefore feel pressured to fit in and confirm to what they are shown is the ‘right way’”
”We went into this recording process wanting to take more risks and push ourselves into new territories. It’s about being true to yourself no matter what, by following the things you are truly passionate about. It’s a positive message about finding your own place in it all, even if it means stepping into the unknown”.
