*FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT KLAXON*

With 15 weeks to go, Bloodstock Festival has added six new acts to the line-up!

Power Trip are bringing their acclaimed Texan thrash to the Saturday main stage while sludgers Conjurer, black metallers A Forest Of Stars and Brit thrash metallers Forgotten Remains join the Saturday bill on the Sophie Lancaster stage. Also added to the Sunday bill for the Sophie Lancaster stage are Greek thrashers Bio-Cancer and New Zealand hardcore Maori metallers Alien Weaponry!

Bloodstock’s Metal To The Masses competitions are reaching their finals stage, with 31 finals kicking off across the UK later this week with finalists being in with the chance of not only playing at this years festival but also next years Bloodstock, 2019’s Slovenia Metaldays festival, recording time with Russ Russell at Parlour Studios and much more!

Also for 2018, Bloodstock are going greener and getting Drastic On Plastic by banning the use of plastic straws across all the bars and retailers on site. They are joining 60 other independent festivals pledging to get rid of all non-recyclable plastics over the next three years, with the hope that in 2021 there will be no single use plastic bottles or drinking cups and other single use pieces of plastic.
