Math metal rockers Bear have revealed their latest single and video, Masks, ahead of their new album released this April.
Fans of The Dillinger Escape Plan and Meshuggah will want to get on board with the Belgian band who have managed to slick style that they have nailed down across the two albums they have previously released. The third one is set to be just as exciting.
New single, Masks, is just a teaser of what to expect. Guitarist Leander Verheyen Tsjakalov, “Masks is about people who are afraid of being themselves, they put on a mask but behind that they still are the same person. The video reflects that. Only in the end the lead character in the video, who finds a mask to hide behind, loses her face. It’s an analogy for losing your true self if you pretend to be what you are not.”
