We here at AltCorner work closely with some of the best new upcoming artists around and what better way to showcase these acts than to create an EP of our favourite tracks right now! In our first release of the AltTape, we have chosen eight tracks all of which are more than pleasing on your ear holes! Oh and guess what?! all EIGHT tracks are FREE!

Track 1: Seven Stories High – Working For Wednesdays
Swansea Pop Punks are first up on our EP. The five-piece have recently released their EP ‘Take The Long Road Home’ and this track is a real standout for us on their new release. Charming and daring, this track is best served with a cold beer in hand!

Track 2: Cute Cute Death – Vessels
Cute Cute Death are quickly becoming one of our favourite new bands! We gave their new album 8.5/10 and with justification! The Kingston rockers have built up a solid fanbase and Vessels is the perfect introduction to there music. Plus they have an epic name which helps! We LOVED the title track of the album and as a result, named it on this EP!

Track 3: Pretty Little Enemy – Vertebreak
“Pretty Little Enemy are all about the chuggy riffs and catchy beats!” is how this four-piece describe themselves and we agree! ‘Vertebreak’ is their latest single and we fell in love with it the minute we heard it and you will too!

Track 4: Shot Of Hornets – Don’t Go Chasing Shadows, Arthur
Three piece band Shot of Hornets are extravagant, expressive and experimental, and we wouldn’t have them any other way! Their track ‘Don’t Go Chasing Shadows, Arthur’ is not only impeccably named, it is also an epic track!

Track 5: Pushing Daisies – Kintsugi
Bristol grungers Pushing Daisies blend emo and punk together with ease. Dealing with various issues lyrically, the band have developed a strong reputation for both a strong live performance and making you weep uncontrollably. ‘Kintsugi’ is a track taken from their EP ‘Stay Sad’ which is to be put out on Vinyl by Homebird Records. PLAY IT LOUD!

Track 6: Syren City -10,000 Knives
Syren City are as sassy as they come. Providing some post-hardcore so fine, it can only be compared to the finest of wines. Their history is a successful one, building a strong fan base and reputation, whilst evolving completely in the past year as a result of their new line-up. ‘10,000 Knives’ is a perfect track to showcase just how good Syren City are and we feel that you are gonna love this one!

Track 7: Patriot Rebel – Self Hate
We loved Cynics Playground, the EP that ‘Self Hate’ is present upon. This track “keeps the energy high and keeps the hard rock party going. It’s another great track with a brilliant guitar opening and a signature driving drum beat. The combination of these aspects on this track have me craving to start head banging the minute it starts playing”.
Track 8: Weinf – Bury Me With My Money
Weinf is a solo artist living in Barcelona, Spain. Weinf released his first demo in December 2014. He is a catchy tune writer, producing his own music and loving life as a whore lover and music maker – his words not ours! Having followed his career closely we are delighted to include his new track on our EP!
