Phoenix Calling – Hold On To Glory
‘Rescue Me’ marks a change in sound for Phoenix Calling; stripped back verses with a focus on the dynamic vocal parts result in a more mature sound, and instrumental parts that are hugely memorable. This is in part thanks to the input from producer Lee Batiuk (Deaf Havana producer Old Souls / Fools & Worthless Liars deluxe edition), who the band brought back in to work with them once again.

Punk rock quartet Max Raptor have released the video for track Relic. The track is taken from the band’s self-titled album which is out now via Hassle Records. The video is self-filmed and was recorded on the band’s European tour.
Servers say Everything is Ok
Brit cult rockers Servers are set to release their album Everything is OK via Undergroove Records on August 19. While everything isn’t okay in the world, the quartet provide a boisterous call to arms with this haunting, melancholic record, complete with enthralling hooks.
Dead Lord added to The Vintage Caravan Tour
Dead Lord have announced that they will be hitting the UK later this year as special guests on The Vintage Caravan’s UK Tour. Thequartet are also appearing at this year’s Hard Rock Hell festival, set to take place in Pwllheli, North Wales between November 10-12.

Crown the Empire release Zero
Rock quintet Crown the Empire have released the video for new track Zero. The track is taken from their highly-anticipated album Retrograde which is due via Rise Records on July 22. The record can be pre-ordered now via the band’s merch store or iTunes.

Kerrang! Awards winners
Thursday June 9 saw some of rock and metal’s finest come together for the 2016 Kerrang! Awards. Hosted at the Troxy in London by The Darkness’ Justin Hawkins and Skindred’s Benji Webbe and saw the likes of No Devotion, Asking Alexandria, Creeper and more honoured before a first for the awards with a live show featuring two of the winners, Asking Alexandria and A Day to Remember picking up best British band and best international band respectively.
