Muncie Girls Release ‘Respect’ For Refugee Action!
Exeter indie-punk trio Muncie Girls have released single ‘Respect’ for ‘Name Your Price’ download with all proceeds raising funds in aid of Refugee Action. Lande from the band explains “Refugee Action is a UK-based charity that supports refugees and asylum seekers and campaigns for a fairer asylum system. They do such important work, so check them out!”.
Columbus – Spring Forever
Brisbane trio Columbus release debut album Spring Forever through UNFD on August 26. The record is the follow up to 2015’s EP Home Remedy which saw the band break out into the limelight. The power-punk trio came together in school and were completed via a school jazz band (no, really) and we all need to thank that school band for gifting us a very talented trio!
Cassels – You, Us and They
Overall the 4 track EP was very enjoyable. The singers voice goes very well with the sound this duo has created. It was very interesting to not have any idea what would come next. I truly look forward to what else these brothers will release in the future, would definitely recommend giving them a listen.
Kamikaze Girls Highlight Realities Of Mental Health Problems In ‘Ladyfuzz’
A name that was given to vocalist and guitarist Lucinda Livingstone by KG drummer Conor Dawson in a previous band they were both members of, the term ‘Ladyfuzz’ stemmed from Livingstone’s un-healthily nerdy obsession with fuzz pedals and stuck as a nickname for her on-stage persona.

The Decline – Are You Gonna Eat That?
Are You Gonna Eat That? is a hard punk kick in the teeth from the minute you hit play, it’s impossible to stay still whilst listening to this album, from the stellar guitar and vocals from Pat Decline and Ben Elliot, to the fast paced drum beats from Harry and the pounding base delivered by Ray Ray, Are You Gonna Eat That? is an excellent album and one I haven’t been able to stop listening to.
