Sleeping with Sirens, State Champs @ Union Chapel, Islington
Union Chapel in Islington is the venue for tonight. A church seems a very odd place to head to for a Sleeping with Sirens and State Champs show. It is a rare opportunity for fans of the bands to see their idols perform their hits acoustically and it was one they snapped up with tickets selling out within an hour as frontman Kellin Quinn mentions during the set. As I arrive at the venue, there is a massive queue and it’s obvious people have camped out overnight. There is a touching moment as the headline band emerge from the neo-gothic church with pizza boxes they give to the queue.

Go away and educate yourself right now!). Will this solo outing follow in his bands footsteps, delivering more of what we’ve come to love from the Texas Quartet? Will this be a dramatic change in pace for Mr. Chandler, allowing him to create a thirteen piece Jazz odyssey?

I caught up with frontman Derek DiScanio before their acoustic set to chat about the success of Around the World and Back, Warped Tour, the recently announced March 2017 UK tour and Dereks favourite Disney character.

For our first band of the week, it has to be a band that I have literally seen over thirty times: Altered Sky.
Introducing Better Days
Upon completion of the bands first official tour, writing began for what would have been a third EP. During this process it became evident the bands musical direction was moving towards something new, a brand which didn’t fit the style they had built. It was then decided that they would start again from scratch and of the new alias; Better Days.
