The record is split into four EP’s with the first installment being named The Pale EP and set for release on October 14 (ooh happy birthday me!) Playing in a band can be a full time job, but the origin of post-hardcore quintet Jack the Envious combined music and national service. In 2012, vocalist Nir Perlman and guitarists Guy Avnon and Shalev Grados formed the band in high school, later being joined by bassist Guy Chekarov during military service. Throughout the time period of their formation to 2014, the band juggled songwriting, relentless touring and military careers.
