Mitch Emery is the type of Singer/Songwriter for those who don’t usually like Singer/Songwriters, this is a guy who looks like that guy from that band you can’t remember the name of but, remember really liking. IF you take Green Day, My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, blend with Damien Rice and Glen Hansard, garnish with a sprinkling of Hip-Hop and a healthy dollop of lively stage persona. Upload Festival 2016
Before I start my review I would like to say that the UK needs more festivals like this one. It is rare that you will see such a great line up on a festival bill, especially one that has some of the best unsigned / DIY bands in the UK, so with anticipated excitement I took the long drive down to Wakefield for the first ever Upload Festival at Warehouse23.

2000 Trees festival are celebrating their tenth birthday in style! The already incredible line-up has now been completed with the announcement of the final three bands and the acoustic stage.
Valleys Soundfest 2016
Valleys Soundfest is an alternative music festival that is held by students on the Music Technology course at Coleg Y Cymoedd. Each year the festival benefits a chosen charity, the past couple of years it has been the charity Love Hope Strength Foundation UK. The festival showcases up and coming artists, both locally and nationally as well as college bands.

Although small, tonight went well. It is nice to see a packed club, showing that people still enjoy actual live bands. All acts were outstanding. The People The Poet, The Broadcasts and Vince James all showed that true talent really does still exist.
