Lifetight are releasing their debut Self-Tightled EP on November 3 so ahead of the release, we asked the band to tell us more about the world of Lifetight by taking on our A-Z challenge!

A song that made you want to make music?

The first few tracks on Slipknot self titled made me (Danny) pick up a guitar!

Best rider you have had?

Fizzy water. BECAUSE EVERYONE LOVES THAT.

Craziest moment in the band?

When we nearly recorded gangster rap over one of our tracks, glad we got that out of our system.

Deepest lyric one of your songs features?

My mind would swallow me whole if I let it.

Easiest song you wrote?

The new song that we just wrote, literally finished in a couple of hours.

Favourite song in your set?

ALL OF THEM!

Guest you’d most like to feature on your record?

2Pac straight up.

Hardest thing about being in a band?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Interesting fact about one of your members?

Elliott doesn’t actually use the internet.

Jokes you have in the band?

Tom.

Key to writing a song?

2nd fret.

Longest distance you’ve travelled to play a show?

12 hour round trip for Danny to play a show in Southampton.

Most inspiring musician you’ve experienced?

2Pac.

New band you’d recommend?

Loathe, they’re literally rebranding metal. Absolutely incredible.

Opening for this band would be ideal?

Stray From The Path.

Place you’d most like to tour?

Someones garden shed in Bandung.

Reason for the title of your forthcoming release?

It’s both a play on words and represents the structure of the band.

The old days of music were better than the current, do you agree?

The community of it yes, the sound quality not so much.

UFO? WHAT!?

Variations you’d like to do on one of your songs?

To be fair, we’re pretty happy with how they are…

What do your fans mean to you?

We do this music for ourselves, but fans are the backbone of it all at the end of the day.

X-rays or any treatments needed for band injuries?

NOT YET!

You’re late for a show, whose fault is it?

So far, so punctual.

Zoo animal that best describes the personality of your band?

Chameleon, we’re all a bit different but we work as one.
