Little Ghost

October 7, 2015

Little Ghost are a four-piece rock band from Shropshire, West Midlands. The members originally met whilst at college however they didn’t begin to play together until years later. Little Ghost released three EP’s between 2013-14 as Louis Cooper-Hughes’ singer/songwriting project. Mickey Evans and Ryan O’Connor joined the before the release of their 3rd EP “Queen Bee”. The EP’s title-track was aired on Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio One Introducing Show and with a session drummer performed their first ever live set for a session with BBC Introducing In Shropshire shortly after.

Chris Greenhalgh joined Little Ghost as a permanent drummer in February 2015 and they began gigging around Shropshire and became notable for their energetic performances which often present their songs in a more aggressive manner than their studio counterparts. Around this time the band started recording sessions for their debut album. They also embarked on a 5-date UK tour in September 2015 supporting City Of Ashes and A Mouth Full Of Matches.

On September 14th 2015 they released their debut LP “Versus” which exhibited a stripped back version of the band with a heavier sound which omitted the electronic elements of their usual work whilst still blending genres such as Indie, Pop, Dance and Punk with a standard rock-band setting.
