A Year Today Calling It A Day

Bristol based party rockers A Year Today have sadly announced that they are to break up.

Bristol based party rockers A Year Today have sadly announced that they are to break up. A Year Today will be remembered for two things;  releasing their fantastic debut EP ‘We Are The Young’ and of course, their incredible live shows that once saw the whole of the Bristol Louisiana singing along to rock covers of Five’s Don’t Stop Moving and Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off.

The band released a statement on their Facebook that read:

“Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and it absolutely kills us to say this but this is the end of A Year Today. Due to other commitments within their lives Dave and George have had to take a step back and the rest of us feel that finding replacements would not be the right choice for us. We are literally gutted we have to say this and we cannot thank every single one of you enough for making the past year and a bit one of the best experiences of our lives.

We will be seeing out the tour and everything else we have planned which leaves our final show on Saturday 26th September at The Crofters Rights.

Bristol you’ve been absolute babes to us every time we play for you. Let’s finish this off with the biggest party we’ve ever thrown.

Love you all,

Dave, Josh, George, Conor & Will”

We Are The Young, But A Year Today Will Never Be Old News.
